Started working as a data entry operator in quality department at Sumitomo Electric Wiring
Systems – Egypt, 6th of October site (SEWS-Eg) in Dec 2017.
Archived all internal defects data collected from production line in company’s internal system.
Analyzed internal defects data breaking it down to determine internal defect ratios in different
areas.
Created different kinds of charts that are reported by quality manager in daily meetings (Pareto
charts, bar charts, pie charts, pivot tables, etc.) to aid quality engineers in determining the
worst defect in the worst areas to tackle.
Calculates claim index based on customer concerns received.
Prepares monthly quality KPI monitoring reports which involves the following:
• Defect ratio.
• production team scoring based on internal & external quality results.
• Quality cost sheet. (Rework, scrap, transported products to site due to rejection by
customer, customer concern, quality department members – inspectors and staff costs)
• Customer concern monitoring sheet that is updated automatically after each entry.
Other weekly reports for quality KPI monitoring which are also reported to senior management
include the following:
• Weekly defect ratio.
• Data that break down information about the worst production line, worst team, and
worst shift in terms of internal quality results, rework, and noncompliance cases.
• Monitors human resources required in quality department by creating and updating a
labor plan sheet based on the requirements of each facility in site.
• Updates quality department headcount sheet.
• Monitors customer concerns status through updating a monitoring sheet.
